What CMoney collects

When you create an account we collect your email address and any optional profile details you fill in (name, creator platforms, financial goals, risk tolerance). When you link a bank via Plaid, we collect transaction history, account balances, and the institution name. When you use the CMoney AI we store your chat history so you can reference it later.

What we don't collect

We don't collect your bank login credentials — those are handled entirely by Plaid and never reach our servers. We don't track you across the web. We don't share your data with advertisers and we don't sell it.

Plaid

We use Plaid to read your bank transactions and balances. Plaid's relationship with you is governed by Plaid's privacy policy. CMoney has read-only access — we cannot move money or initiate payments. You can disconnect any bank from Settings, or manage Plaid connections directly at my.plaid.com.

AI

When you use the CMoney AI, we send a summary of your financial data (income totals, top spending categories, savings rate, etc.) to Google's Gemini API as context for your conversation. We don't send raw transactions or other users' data. Gemini is governed by Google's API terms.

CMoney AI is not a licensed financial advisor. It generates educational guidance, not personalized financial advice.

Your rights

  • Delete. Permanently delete your account from Settings — disconnects banks, purges all your data, and removes your login.
  • Disconnect. Remove any linked bank without deleting your account.
